Social Responsibility

HINDOC participates in capacity building in environment, health and safety through partnerships with NGOs and the University of South Africa. Environmental, health and safety auditing and compliance monitoring programmes are also offered.

Environmental, health and safety capacity is developed through education, training and development initiatives. Our personnel have a passionate interest in developing innovative ways of dealing with environmental, health and safety problems and to these ends it off ers a quality service to its clients.

Capacity Building

Personnel have assisted Makhulong Environment and Conservation Trust in the establishment of their NGO. Dr Lorraine Hodge is a member of the standards governing body for Occupational Health and Safety and has been part of decision making with regard to qualifications destined for registration on the National Qualifications Framework. HINDOC also assisted the Ngome Community Game Reserve (community driven project) by undertaking an environment impact assessment for them at no cost and training employees in environment, health and safety.
